I figure if I go with a beautiful set of chrome chambers on my H2 rebuild, every year or so I'm going to have to clean them out properly, which will involve lots of heat, or nasty chemicals. How do you clean out chrome pipes w/o causing damage?? Maybe I will just go with black. I already know Jim's answer  - what do you other Guys think?

I think cleaning them out every year isn't necessary. Repacking and cleaning the baffles, yes. The pipes themselves, no. They won't clog up like standard pipes do. Unless they're Wirges ?

That seems a bit "too" often to me also. But at least you won't have 200 pound pipes in 20 years.......

I put about 30,000 miles on a set of chambers, just cleaning and repacking the silencers when they got loud. They're a bit on the heavy side now, but they accumulated enough dents and repairs in that time that I decided to make myself a new set...
