My low speed coil gave up and I plan on trying to make a new one. I did find the web page on making your own.
http://kawtriple.com/mraxl/tips/coilwind/coilwind.htm Who here has attempted making one and did you have any problems?
I bought some 34 gauge enameled wire and will get the rest of the stuff together to give it a go.

They are pretty easy to do, as Tom has shown. I have a few to do, just haven't gotten to them. The only thing I would do different, is just accurately weigh the old wire coil, and match it.
