I'm trying to pressure up my H2b rebuild. My intake boots are leaking. Twice now. First I was advised to use neverseeze between my paper gasket-heat insulator-paper gasket-intake boot combo. That didn't work. Then I tried some non-hardening form-a-gasket. Didn't work. I'm about to try some blue silicone #6 gasket maker next unless you guys have a better suggestion. Getting tired of remaking the paper gaskets......and spring is coming FAST..... my heat insulators are in fine shape. My intake boots are questionable but no funding for new ones. Any advice wold be appreciated.

get rid of the heat insulators. You dont need them. The rubber manifolds are themselves good enough "heat insulators".

A thin smear of three bond on either side of the paper gasket and reinstall the rubber manifolds.

Sometimes the adapter is warped and needs to be ground flat.

Adapter?

The metal piece that bolts to the cylinder.
