I have the stock 15/47 gearing on my 72 H2 and it feels way under geared. I spend most of my time in 3rd, not much in 4th and rarely in 5th. Thinking about going to a 14T to add some rpms.
Who's running 14/47 on there H2 and did you notice a improvement?

I felt the 14 was too low for me, but hey, front sprockets aren't expensive. Give it a shot, might be perfect for you.

I have run 14/47 on my h2 was a bit short geared for my use , went back to 15/47 I prefer it :D , if its running properly you shouldnt have a problem with 15/47. the lower gearing maybe better in the City , they dont like chugging around in high gears that much :(

I've run 14/47 for about 3 yrs now and love it! My H2 sees no freeway miles almost always on the back roads. It upped the RPM by about a 500 increase at cruising speed over the stock ratio. Does help the low end acceleration and the smile factor definitely increased. :D There are many of us I know that have made this switch.

I think I will give a 14T a try, I just ride back roads too and need more use of my gearbox. Just sent our Amish friend a email to see if he has one in stock. Thanks for the input guys.

Lots of fun, a 14t, and definitely worth a try. Ran anything from a 13 to a 17 tooth sprocket back in the day, but always seemed to settle on a 15, I think Kawasaki got it right!

On my now stolen hot rod street H2, 15/48, worked best.

incredible short ratio, even on road hill climbing races I never fit shorter than 15X47
