My new neighbour just came over and told me to turn the bike off, as it was making his TV go fuzzy. I told him these bikes dont have resistors and are standard. Is that normal for KH500? My TV is fine by the way. Apart from telling my nieghbour, who did not even introduce himself, to take a long flying leap, what can I do ?

Ha ...you cause the interference and you tell your neighbor to take a leap.... :wtf: ....LOL.....

why not? :e11 :e11 :e11

My H2 use to do that back in the old days , and as for your reaction no wonder the general public dont like bikes , or is it some of the people that buy them

'Course, a H2 with pipes and a rough idle is good for setting off car alarms in a concrete low roof car-park, specially if you have a "bit" of piston-slap!

Actually I'm not a bad neighbor, I'm not noisy before 9 or after 9. I would probably tell thaat neighbor, that I have a right to run my bike, and he does need to get a new TV........

The crux of this is the assumption that the bike was causing the interference. A neighbor with a new toy being started and revved a lot would give me the shits....on the other hand I've been guilty of doing just that myself.
It was bloody hot on the day in question, my guess is that the multitude of AC units working overtime played a part in the interference.
A crackling two stroke was probably just an easy target.
If you really want to find out what it is actually emitting I have a wideband bug detector, wideband scanner and a spectrum analyzer at work.
Also got a crappy CRT TV somewhere :D

i was thinking next time i will take the baffles out and tell him he has 5 seconds to get off my property, but i will leave that up to my wife. I am even scared of her. She can tell hom its either the loud noise or the fuzzy tv, its the only way i can fix the bike.
