My new neighbour just came over and told me to turn the bike off, as it was making his TV go fuzzy. I told him these bikes dont have resistors and are standard. Is that normal for KH500? My TV is fine by the way. Apart from telling my nieghbour, who did not even introduce himself, to take a long flying leap, what can I do ?

Resistor plugs will reduce interference at the expense of performance problems.
A faulty CDI "B" unit would cause excessive interference. If it is defective there would be excessive arcing at the brush contacts on the rotor.

Yes, that, like resistor plugs would reduce interference with potential performance problems. Given a choice between bad and worse, I would choose resistor plugs.

Resistive wires would also reduce interference but that would be the last choice... really not even a choice.

Tell him he needs a digital TV

My H2 used to cause havoc with TV reception (enough for violence to be offered at least once) , but not with the new TV's.

Wait for the summer when he's in the yard or at home with the windows open, start bike in proximity, smoke into his house/yard always good for a laugh.
