I've found that most auto parts stores have gasket paper. In a pinch I've used manilla folder paper cut-outs.(This type of tan paper is very fiberous.) Smear some oil on the base and then press the paper straight down and firm. Don't let it wiggle. When you raise it back up you have a perfect transfer to cut out with a sharp razor knife, or preferably, a few correct hole punches and scissors. For good measure, a tiny smear of sealant won't hurt! :)

A cornflakes box works ok too. Repco will have paper on hand, Autobarn might, Supercheap at Melton did a couple of months ago.

Exactly where I got some. 0.8 mm for oil gasket. Enough to make about 200 gaskets for $8. I tried it and it works well, even without any gasket goo. I should use some I guess on the final build.

Go easy on those threads!!! New washers or (preferably) stat-o-seals!

Just snapped the Bolt, after inserting a new helicoil. Got carried away with the tightness....... aaaargh. I never thought the bolt would snap. Now I go find a new one one.
