Strip the check valve, check it out far more closely this time with my large magnifying glass and
locate another L or part number 1 oil line?? FWIW B4 I get pilloried as a lazy newbie about starting another thread about oil supply issues, I must admit that I have indeed conducted a search and have found most if not all the other threads on this subject which I have found most enlightening................Nice input boys

Addendum.
Am back in business!!
I stripped the Check Valve again this morning and rebuilt it with EXTRA care, possibly it was because the narrow end of the spring had decided to migrate inside the wider part under compression and the bearing was backing off!
Either way I have done the best job I can to get the spring looking as it should, but working with something so fine is difficult, the upshot is that its working OK now, there's no air but must keep my eye on it.
