Hmmmm I supposed you mean at their minimums. Are all adjusters screwed all the way in? The elbow into the throttle housing, the adjuster at the other end of the elbow and at the carbs?

yes all the adjusters are at there minimums, twist grip elbow, midway adj ,and carb tops.
and the routing is not snagging anywhere.
aftermarket from motion pro.
i ordered all new cabbles , clutch choke, speedo, etc, etc. from the same sorce ,no probs with any of the others.
it was late last night when i was finishing , maybee i messed up somewere and sleepy eyes/brain didnt see it .
will recheck today.
thanks mark

It's easy to get the cables fouled in the splitter. Maybe open it up and check.

That's what I was thinking too Dale but when it's hosed in the splitter it does not move much, pull it and it stays too. Although if even one of the cables is out of the center it would affect travel so could be the cause. Usually they're a spin-off top so it's easy to check.

If you're making reference to the splitter... it's in the middle... screws apart.

i think the splitter i have is a snap together deal, the cap goes round and round but does not come apart.
and i was refering to wether it is best to instal from the twistgrip down to the carbs or carbs first ,grip last.
(also the midway adjuster i spoke of is on the choke cable my bad)
thanks mark

Do you have the old cable for comparison? Is the issue not enough slack exposed cable? It's possible they sent you an S3 cable, perhaps.
