I have a 6mm recoil thread kit. You are welcome to come over to fix it on the weekend, factory is in Ringwood just next to Eastlink.
I've got a feeling you may be just a tad pushed for time at the moment though :D

its an easy repair to just helli coil it as I have had to do on a 2nd hand H2 75 model pump for my 72 , to decrease oil out put , as using Syn oil now

Cool Thanks Nigel. I will see how I get on though after the birth of a new one today !!
I took her outr for a run around the court today. Clutch is stuck .... andway I got it into second gear. Anyideas on a clutch as well ? I assume a rebuild and clean ?

The adjustment on yours was way out, it could be just a simple fix. Could be that it needs to rotate one space to get enough travel, the angle wasn't too bad. *note -Steves bike has a worm type adjuster fitted.

You'll need to take the clutch plates apart, clean the steel plates and replace the friction discs.. OR if they look really good, clean them with gasoline, oil them and re use them. but they MUST be cleaned. Don't forget a new gasket. MY clutch used to get stuck when the bike sat around until I found and installed the original clutch separator rings. (If the friction plates are really old, glazed and hard, they may become delaminated and crumble apart.) Also, I have a good H2A pump body with PERFECT threads for the price of shipping..........
