So, I went to order a custom cable from Motion Pro today. Provided them with a drawing and everything. I get a call and the guy on the other end of the line says that the cable I have doesn't look anything like the stock one...?! My cable threads into the case, right above the sprocket. the cable they have looks like it just slips down into a hole. did they change this for the later models? Is there any concern putting the style motion pro has on my bike?

Thanks
Jason

Not sure what bike. Triple cables do not thread into the case.

Then its a slide in fit, not screwed - stock. Someone must have changed it at some stage.
