Good thinking, Greg. And with two, you might not need an EX caliper conversion, either.

I always read responses to stiff clutch posts that said try re-routing...well it's amazing how much difference even a small angle change can make. My H2 was wicked strong to start with and after 3 slightly different pathways, I found one that cut the pull by half. The new route goes under the tank from the right side.

Due to lower and narrower handle bars, I've been running that route for almost 40 years! The key to the lightest pull is to route the cable in such a way that allows the biggest radius at the bends. ;)

And of course, you can get shorter, better fitting cables to alleviate the problem...!

I would be interested in a vendor who can make quality custom clutch cables. I had one made years ago - was very expensive and the end came off after a short time.

I've had good luck with cables from Motion Pro.

What are the cables from Andre, Jessbikes and Mid-Atlantic like - I'm assuming they are Sudco/originals? They certainly look the part! A S2 350 cable will work in a low-bar H2 situation, it is a few inches shorter and while the outer case is smaller, the wire is the same diameter. May help someone out there!!
