I have a newbie question...good to be a newbie again.
. Why is there so much adjustment available on the gear lever return spring stop bolt? And how do you set the adjustment?

I'm kinda lost too, Are you talking the internal shift arm? I don't remember any pin. Got pic?

The gear lever with the scissors that turn the drum....the lever return spring needs an anchor pin that goes through the opening in the lever..but it has a ton of adjustment? http://3cyl.com/mraxl/manuals/sseries/sman35.htm |

There isn't really a lot of adjustment there. All it's for is to center the pawls on the shift pin. |
