Parts Manual shows slotted washer, spring and circlip.
Is this right? Can't understand what the circlip does as the spring slips right over it.
Now if you had a slotted washer at both ends I could understand it....any thoughts

Parts Manual shows slotted washer, spring and circlip. Is this right? Can't understand what the circlip does as the spring slips right over it. Now if you had a slotted washer at both ends I could understand it....any thoughts
