Hi all
i am having only whatI can describe as a "senior mement"!!! as I cannot get the front wheel / spindle to work when i fit it.
I have it attached as per the pics, but when i tigthen the castle nut the spindle from the other side simple pulls through the fork leg, even when i have the bolt on the bottom of the forkleg tight. There is a circular spacer which i have put under the oil seal cover (right hand side), is that where the spacer goes or should it go between the forkleg and the hub? Its a 1975 S1C with twin leading shoes, can anyone help and advise how it fits back together?

Hi Mraxl, thanks for posting up the parts list, much appreciated. It looks like i have all the parts correct but when i tighten the castle nut it pulls the larger diameter end of the spindle towards it through the round opening of the bottom of the fork, what am i missing that allows you to tighten the castle nut without the spindle being pulled towards it, ideally i should be tightening the castle nut and everything moves towards the other end of the wheel spindle with the hole in it.

Snug the castle nut without overtightening and put the pin thru it. Then clamp the axle.
