I want to use my stock std. pistons, I would like to stick a new set of rings in it, will Wiseco rings work on Kawi oem pistons? or am I down to chasing down std. oem rings?

I'm curious... are you going to use the pistons with the cylinders they've been running with? If so, you might measure the rings to see if you really need to replace them. I've never had a set wear out before the pistons did.

Yes, I honed the cylinders and took the pistons and cylinders to the guy that does my boring, he measured them and said they would be fine. I haven't checked the ring gap yet, just thought I would throw in a new set of rings and wrist pin bearings.

Thanks, Scully, I will check the ring gap on my old rings, just trying to avoid paying $500 for a set of pistons.

For less than the price of a new set of Kawasaki rings, you can get a set of pistons with rings from Cruzin Image: https://www.cruzinimage.net/2017/08/10/ ... stons-set/

They sell piston rings too, though I don't see stock size H1 rings.

Cruzin Image sells good parts. I have a set of stock bore pistons and rings in my KH400.
