I have a stuck piston in the caliper, looks like I'm down to the grease trick, does anyone know the thread pitch of the 10mm banjo bolt? Is it a 10 x1.25? trying to find a grease alemite. Thanks, Buddy.

I just checked a master cylinder, and it's 10x1.25. I believe they're all the same.

I've used the grease gun trick. Quick and easy, worked perfect.

Best way and I’ve tried all of the methods. Kit is about $60 on Amazon.

One thing to know about, some might suggest re-chroming the piston(s) if they are damaged on the seal sides.

Be aware, this cannot be done correctly from most chrome shops. Those facilities do what is referred to as "beauty chrome", such as on our mufflers, etc.

The pistons are done using a process called "industrial hard chroming", much tougher than beauty chrome.

Maim thing is, if it doesn't need to be redone, leave it alone, clean it up, use it as is.

Sorry for the delay guys, been on vacation, thanks for all the input, the grease gun method worked great, may even be able to save the piston.

I'm going to replace my caliper piston, it has a little pitting, do you guys think this one would be good?
