Gentlemen - I'm currently in the process of restoring a purple 73 H2 with new rims, spokes and wheel bearings. when I remounted the front wheel it now sits about 1/8" closer to the left (speedo drive side), not perfectly centered between the fork legs. All spoke ends are seated uniformly in the nipples. The new wheel bearings (All Balls) are fully seated and the outboard ends of the axel sit flush with the outside faces of the fork leg lowers. Is this normal? Had one of these years ago and don't remember seeing this issue on that one. |

Figured it out gentlemen - Axel , bearings and all spacers were installed correctly so I loosened the spokes on the short side and tightened the opposite side 1/4 turn. Perfect now. Should have figured it out sooner. |
