Rod Question
Who makes the best rods for H2s, stock length? I am resurrecting a few projects
from 72-81 that most have never seen, and others would say can't work. Well I want
people to know that you can have a mechanical fuel injected, supercharged, or turbocharged
H2, and contrary to popular belief the seals don't blow out on the crank, and they can
spool a turbo ( have seen 18lbs of boost ).
So now it's time to put these bikes on the road again, 45 years later! Am presently having
a ceramic bearing crank built, but will need at least 2 16mm cranks done, and don't
know who makes the best parts.

Any help would be appreciated, and will share any help i can answer!
Thanks
Coebie

Hello Coebie, welcome to the board!

Ask Charlie Smith of Triple Cranks: 443-752-1222

He and a couple other crank rebuilders are in the vendor's section of the resource site. The main page of the site is here: http://www.kawatriple.com

(When I saw the title of this thread I thought we were actually going to see Rod Harradine's finished H2.)

Thanks Jim,
I was a fireman in Indianapolis for 37 years, and raced at Indianapolis Raceway Park
from 68-2012. I worked as a machinest on my days off and built H2 engines for TQ
migets, where i developed Mechanical fuel injection on Methinol in 1976, which i am
presently converting to EFI to run E-85. Don't know why, but retired in Lexington and
lost all my contacts, drive back to indy to get Cryo work done, and still need to find
machine work done. There's nothing here for motorcycles, and i don't like Horsepower
with metal shoes!!!

Nearly spilt my cup of tea when I saw this thread! If there was a simple way to post pics here you CAN see my finished H2.... Let's see what I can do. I will put something up on that other, err, site, which is much easier to use and where most of the Triples guys are!

It's done? Holy crap! You can attach photos here very easily. Under the text window there is a button that says "browse". Select a photo, hit the "Add the file" button, and submit it. You can add several in one post if you keep selecting photos and adding them.

How's it run? Let's hear some ride reports!
