Mitaka makes them for H1's, but I didn't see H2 listed.
Does anyone know a a supplier? Looking for first O.S.
Thanks in advance.

I do believe Cruisin Image pistons are cast.

They have listings for all the little triples, no H2, that I could see

It is good you want cast pistons, they go in with reasonable piston clearances, rings last longer, and they don't sound like they are worn out from excessive piston to cylinder clearances.

Curious why you would want cast?

I used [forged] Wiseco's in the rebuild of my H2.

On another subject, are you guys familiar with Vintco? My Honda buddy brought them to my attention. The pistons are forged and made in Germany.

They also have H2 cranks....

Personal preference based on 50 years of tuning 2-strokes.
These engines were built with cast pistons.
Not because forged piston technology wasn't available.
The expansion rate of forged pistons dictates a greater set-up clearance. So, when you are NOT at WOT & max EGT's, you are riding around with loose, rattly pistons.
I've enjoyed availability of cast pistons for my RZ350, and thought we'd have them available for H2's.
I'll do what I need to do.
Not wanting to perpetuate an "oil thread" of emotional responses here, nor calling anyone's baby ugly.
I WILL not fit the Seizeco pistons in my bike. I've got 30 years experience with them in snowmobile engines (much more severe duty than typical street bike, SUSTAINED WOT)
As for the Vintco cranks, I e-mailed the owner, and I've since decided to have my crank rebuilt with Japanese connecting rods/rollers/pins. Again, personal preference. I'm glad we have choices.

I assume OEM stock was depleted decades ago. Where to get cast pistons now?

Buy Wossner pistons (they are forged) and you won't regret it. They are long lasting and they don't rattle if the piston to wall clearance is correct.

Street pistons were cast, .001 clearance.

Original H2-R pistons were factory forged, and worn completely out in 3 laps.

Latest H2-R and all the KR series were pressure die cast, clearances .0015, NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEM, got 150 race miles from them and rings, didn't sound like they were completely worn out. They worked great up to rev limit of 10,300 RPMs.

After I pulled them out of the race engines, I'd run 'em in my street engines, not one problem. Yes, I also had a KR750 set up for the street, H2-R, too. Still got both of 'em.
