Curious why you would want cast?
I used [forged] Wiseco's in the rebuild of my H2.
On another subject, are you guys familiar with Vintco? My Honda buddy brought them to my attention. The pistons are forged and made in Germany.

These engines were built with cast pistons.
Not because forged piston technology wasn't available.
The expansion rate of forged pistons dictates a greater set-up clearance. So, when you are NOT at WOT & max EGT's, you are riding around with loose, rattly pistons.
I've enjoyed availability of cast pistons for my RZ350, and thought we'd have them available for H2's.
I'll do what I need to do.
Not wanting to perpetuate an "oil thread" of emotional responses here, nor calling anyone's baby ugly.
I WILL not fit the Seizeco pistons in my bike. I've got 30 years experience with them in snowmobile engines (much more severe duty than typical street bike, SUSTAINED WOT)
As for the Vintco cranks, I e-mailed the owner, and I've since decided to have my crank rebuilt with Japanese connecting rods/rollers/pins. Again, personal preference. I'm glad we have choices.
