Good on you guys. The offset F pin helps center the claw on the shift drum pin. The F series claw helps with stopping the shift drum from going too far past the gear position of the drum, preventing over shifting.

If I were a parts prefab person, I'd make the F stop pin, class and claw rivit, or, as seen, the entire lever, H series, F series claw. There is a small bit of chatting on an oil drill rail in the cases to fit the F series claw, not hard to mask cases for the cut. H racer also has a claw guide, easily fabricated.

I've lived through far too many books already. I like helping people in person, so we can both smile like crazy people lunatics when the test ride works, after the "that'll never work"..... Fixes it.

The best thing we can do, is to fold our arms, or, stick our hands in our pockets, lean back against something, and not say a word.... Just SMILE. It drives others bonkers crazy, because they will never figure out what you are really up to!
