With a Nylock nut you should have the threads come all the way through the nylon to get the best locking. Remove a washer or two for better grip, not to mention what looks like a couple of nuts under there too. The double nuts on the exhaust stud are a little suspect too.

Agreed. I just am doing a few shakedown miles before winter sets in. Unraveling the work of an (admittedly) NON-mechanic owner.
