Well I ordered up a new set of Mukuni carb brass for the H1.
Thought I’d get a head start and disassemble the carbs for the new parts.
Got all the carbs off and apart. When I was cleaning up the cables and putting things aside I noticed something not quite right with one of the choke plungers.
How in the hell did I miss this when putting it all together????
The plungers were part of a Keystone kit, or was it Keystone Cops. . I only used them and the gaskets.
And the worst plug was the one with the missing rubber seat.
I am pretty meticulous with this sort of thing. Even when I pulled it out this time around I didn’t notice right away.
Stuff from Mid Atlantic wil be up here in a few days. Should
Be interesting to see the difference with the new brass. I am going to use the original plungers I have. Polished them up and they look as good as new. Seats have hardened a bit but I think they will do the job.
Thanks to all for the input and trouble shooting.
Will give an update wheN the bike is up and running.
