Post subject: 34 mm round slides

I am going to install 34mm round slides H2 do I need to use the heat insulators or not. I have bought the complete kit from Niche Cycle. It seems if I don’t then I might not have to cut off some of the drain plug on the bowl so they clear the cases and the neutral switch. I recall a previous post of someone showing pics of their install but I can’t find it.

Heat insulators shouldn't be an issue when using rubber mounts on carbs.

I've never kept the insulators, only rubber manifolds directly to the intake port flanges, sealed with Yama-Bond 4, or Three-Bond 1104, 1194 sealer.
