I stopped by the only Powder Coat shop in my area. I asked him if he could powder coat my frame without hurting the compliance sticker next to the stamped VIN. He did not think the sticker would do well with the heat.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, as I would hate to damage the original sticker.

Reproduction stickers are available. I don't know the current suppliers, but someone here will.
