Been a lot written about stuck cylinder removal on here, I thought I would share something that worked good for me a few weeks ago. I was dismantling a '78 KE125 for parts that the piston was stuck in the cylinder but free from the studs. First I took an old fork tube and began hitting it with a good sized hammer to drive the piston down to the bottom of the bore, but it didn't move. Then I whipped out a pneumatic air chisel/hammer and gave the top of the piston a good 15 second blast......the piston moved down in the bore maybe 5-6mm! Kept that up for a bit, wasn't long before the piston was at the bottom and i could pull the cylinder off the rest of the way by hand.

I know this won't help much for the cylinders that are stuck to the studs, but the vibration can't hurt loosening the corrosion that seizes the cylinder to the studs. The tool isn't very expensive if you buy a cheap one like mine.
