The H1F blue paint faded a lot with sunlight and caused it to take on a green tint. That may be what you see in some photos.
The color of the base coat has a lot to do with results as well as number of finish coats applied.
That is a great resource and I missed the process part in the paint section, thanks.
Finding the right colour is still going to be difficult. It apears that even with the right tint in the candy coat, thicker or thinner coats will effect the colour in the end. All part of the challenge.
When this lockdown ends, I might head down to my local automotive paint store and see if they have some old paint sample books.
