I am in the process of getting my 1975 500 H-1F back on the road. It is missing the master cylinder and brake line. The bike does have the original rotor and caliper (single). If you have any suggestions please be specific as to the vendor and model numbers. I prefer braided lines.

Welcome to the forum. There are a few good aftermarket suppliers around, I have had luck with this one

As for braided lines, coming from a race car background I always make my own lines with reuseable hose ends, Summit racing is a good resource for all that.

Z1 Enterprises has fast shipping too. The stuff normally arrives five minutes before I order it!

Thank you so much. I appreciate your suggestions. In the past, I have bought master cylinders off of Ebay and was not pleased. I'm familiar with Z-1 Enterprizes and will give them a look.

Update: an order has been placed for a new master cylinder from Z-1.

Now: do you have any suggestions for a source for steel braided lines?
