Need to change the shocks out on my 75 H1 due to rusting springs.

Anyone tried the aftermarket.

Chris

Hagon used to be one of our go-to suppliers, but I'm not sure you can still get them.

Look at Ikon shocks. Several of us spent some time at the vendor booth at Barber a few years ago and were impressed. I have Hagons but would buy Ikons if in the market now. Not sure if Hagons are still available?

In my opinion IKON are the best new shocks that look stock-ish. Expensive but the ride quality is worth it.

You can buy look-alike copies of the originals, but whether they have the under-damped characteristics of the originals I don't know....!? (Ikons would be my choice).

The repro stock appearing ones are better than expected as I’m running them right now along with stock bars, centerstand, orig exhausts since I had total right hip replacement 3 years ago. I kick start still from the right side off the bike with my left leg even though the new hip made a world of difference. I purchased mine from John Lutz at Mid- Atlantic. They are sturdier than expected and look very close to the originals.

Thanks for that, Evans, that is actually the first report I have seen on them. Good to see you getting into it with your new hip, looks like a positive attitude is bringing some good news! Good luck with it all!
