Some of the diagrams I find show 6 steel plates and 7 friction...I have 8 steel, 7 friction: the clutch hub, steel plate, friction plate, steel plate, fp, sp, fp, sp, fp, sp, fp, sp, fp, sp, fp, steel plate then the spring plate. My shop manual diagram shows the clutch hub, a different looking steel plate then 7 friction, 7 steel then the spring plate yet in the description says 7 friction with 6 steel. Has a regular steel plate been substituted for the "notched" one they show in the service manual? Is there supposed to be a steel plate up against the spring plate? Thanks, Monte.

After more research, the "notched " steel plate I refer to in the above post seems to actually be a steel plate with a smaller outter diameter...is this possible? Thanks again.

Thanks...just saw your post as I was sending mine. I've not seen the smaller one available...should I break out the grinder?

Sorry, I need to think before I type. It appears I need a plate #13090-011 (which I do see on ebay) in addition to the 8 standard ones I have. Hope I have that right
