On another forum I had promised to add tool kit content to the Resource site.
After a couple months of research I have done that.... but with incomplete results. Toolkits seem to be an afterthought where Kawasaki is concerned. Tool markings meant nothing to them and part listings don't agree with reality.
This "Best Guess" effort can be found in links found here: http://kawatriple.com/partid/tools/tools.htm
It is my opinion that few toolkit contents can be accurately found anywhere.
Any definitive corrections are welcomed!

This would be the touchiest subject of all, among the 'rivet-counters', and a genuine 'original' tool-kit, whatever that actually is, commands serious money. I threw mine in the corner of the garage 48 years ago, because we all know you don't need to carry a tool-kit on a H2!!

Ha... I carried most of mine, along with some better ones. It was all wrapped in a big rag with a slice of a car inner tube holding it together. I actually still carry that bundle.

Yeah, but you never actually had to use the original tools on an actual 'breakdown'!?

Oh, I used them once in a while, but they never impressed me as top quality tools.

My front sprocket came off a few years ago at 90 MPH+ .. not a thrill I want to repeat. Luckily all the bits were in the sprocket cover, but I had to loosen the rear axle, chain tensioners etc.. amazingly, I had all the necessary tools. Rod is correct about them being crude .. and I did in fact employ the use of a large roadside rock to persuade the axle nut loose!! I was probably beating the heck out of a $100 "collector" spanner.

At that moment it may have been worth more than that to you. :D
