| Post subject: | Sprocket carrier nut torque on rear drum model |
Hello all. I have 1971 model with the rear drum brake. I was just setting up the chain tension, then hit a stumbling block. I have the torque for the rear axle nut 72-102lbft but for the life of me, what is the torque for the rear sprocket carrier? It can't be that tight. Thanks for helping. |

22.4 to 30.4 ft lbs. 3.1 to 4.2 kg-m . |
