I read a lot of the threads about adding Suzuki rubber mounts to an H2, and was a little disappointed it can’t be used on my ‘72. Rubber mounts are one of the reasons I really like my GT750 as an all around rider. I was pawing around in a box O Yamaha stuff and came across a rubber motor mount that TZs use and wondered if it could be used on an early H2. Comparing it to the Suzuki mount, it does have a smaller OD, and the GT part has a larger rubber cushion and probably works better. Maybe the metal outer casing offers structural support for the H2 cases? Do you guys think the TZ mount would offer enough dampening to be a worthwhile mod?
The TZ mount has a 22mm OD, is 19mm wide, and has a 10mm hole.
