Can the stock center stand fit with FPP pipes? Center stands are so handy when working on the bike. It is a ‘72 H2. Thanks Mark |

I doubt that you can retain it. |

Not on an H1D. Yes, a pain but each pipe is 1 pound! The silencer is 1 pound. 3X2 gets ya 6 pounds with manis gets ya 8 pounds. No center stand add 4 pounds. 8+4=12 pounds Compare to stock...?? gotta weigh these stockers eventually. STOCK H1-E PIPES 32.5 POUNDS. DONE 32.5LBS-12 LBS= 20.5 POUNDS SAVINGS H1D is very similar to the H2 in '73 As far as I know, the weight compensates for the lack of low end. As a plus, gets the damn weight from the rear end! High bars and rear bias makes the H1 a "wheelie monster". No thank you. cliff |

And the answer is, yes! It fits right up there between the pipes and doesn’t hit anything when retracted. I will have to put a rubber buffer on the stand lever to protect the left pipe when the stand is up. That is the only place you can see the stand on the bike. Mark |
