I used new, original exhaust gaskets, with some silicon liquid gasket on them, when fitting my Yesbike chambers on my H2A, but the left and right chambers are still leaking slightly at the cilinder, after every ride, there's a nice :x smear of oil all over them...
Do I just need more silicon, or is it OK to use two gaskets instead of one...??
And what about these gaskets I found on Ebay:

Is the leak between the head pipe and the adapter, or between the adapter and cylinder? I think you're saying it's leaking at the cylinder. I don't use gaskets there, I just clean the counterbore in the cylinder and the end of the adapter, put on a little silicone sealer, and bolt them together.

No adapter, just a headpipe, and it's leaking slightly between the headpipe and the cilinder...

I'm not familiar with those chambers, other than from photos. Maybe the pipe is misaligned so its end doesn't fit squarely onto the mating surface of the cylinder.

The Spec II's I had liked to leak like crazy with gaskets and silicone. Then I finally used a whole bunch of " The right stuff" silicone on the flange to the head, wiped it out nice and smooth in the port. A pain when you had to take them off and reseal them but it worked real well. I don't know what the difference is between the products, seemed more the same than different but it worked. I assume from the amount more than the product, I really layed it in heavy I was sick of the oil everywhere.

I did it the same way with my new WTF's just because thats what I had done before to make it work, so far no spooge...that will change Im sure.

Thanks.
I'm going to use those Ebay "crush" gaskets with a lot of silicon sealer.....

Yep. Welcome to the club. I take a blue paper towel with some brake cleaner on it and wipe them down after every ride.
Totally worth it for Jim's SS pipes.

I'm gonna try one more time with some new silicon gasket that I just ordered.
If it fails again, I'm forced to do the same, wiping the oil away with a cloth at every stop....
