It's a tolerance stack-up problem that needs flexibility on 3 axis. Good luck with that!
Flexible seal rings work.

My way is to use the headpipe and seal as datum #1

This places every other attachments in their "nominal" position.

Hangers,etc. in their nominal position must be adjusted to align with attachment method.

Any off nominal positioning of the hangers or other mounts must be close enough not to break seal at headpipe.

Fix downstream mount positions so they do not lift headpipe off seals.

Rubber mounted, but no floppy.

Then again, you can get a cuff type flange adapter that does not rely 100% on a face seal.
Thats where o-rings or silly cone come in.
