Hello - Does anyone know if there are reproduction sealed beam headlamps available on the market to fit a 72 Kawasaki H1B, original P/N: 23007-025?

Well Mike, my day went down the loo after riding over to the local garage on Monday to get a new WOF for the H1 when the headlamp decided to die after 45 years - most impressed. Now I find I have a sealed beam H1 headlamp which is like chickens teeth to find, really great..

I did check this out, however it will not fit as the earlier model H1B is smaller in diameter

What is the diameter, I have a brand new one in the box, but no part number.

I did this to my S3, draws 22 watts, brightest headlight I've got. Here, about $17.

Easy to do.

Did you ride it at night though? Honest question... I put in one of those and if you look at the bulb when it's lit, it will sear your retinas - however, out on a country road at night...it was hopeless, I couldn't see 20 feet!

The H1B is 6" dia and the hi beam needs to dip to the left for roads over here as we drive on the LH side so a wee tricky one..
