Sounds like you might be able to save a few hundred bucks on top end parts.

Have to measure the cylinders to see if they have been oversized at all, still might look into some forged pistons in since I'm in this far, opposed to the stock ones. Would like to do some small but suttle improvements while I'm In there without going crazy. What would you sudjest?

There's nothing wrong with stock cast pistons. They have the advantage of running closer clearances than forged, so they can be quieter. If the piston-cylinder clearance is still within spec, and you don't find any problems after inspecting them, stay with them.

Thanks again for the advice,
Gonna split the cases tomorrow. Take some pics, then spend time figuring out how to post it here efficiently. Need to get a full engine gasket set and seal kit. Any advice on the best suppliers that you have delt with?

The vendors listed on the resource site are a good place to start.

Pics of heads, will post up other close up of #3 head. Would only let me post 3 pics at a time. Will have pics of cyclinders and cases once I get them apart.

Cyclinders #1,2,3. Hard to see, trided to get good pics, I can still see the cross hatching on cylinder walls and no lip. I think just a light honing is in order.

Pistons #1,2,3. #1 I wiped off with "purple power" degreaser soaked on a rag. Otherwise it looked just like the others. They do look to be factory pistons.

You really need to get the cylinder mic-ed out by a shop. Cylinders with holes will oblong with heat and wear.
