Question for you H2 experts....

Does the enrichener cable [choke] screw into the left control [like the throttle] or just slip in [like the clutch cable]

I bought this cable from Z1 but either the cable is wrong or my control is wrong.
Called Z1 and awaiting a return call from the parts manager.
Could be I have an H1 control and guessing I could use the H1 cable?

Thanks

Wrong cable. My H2b does not accept a threaded fitting on the control end. Its just a straight piece of cable that slides into the lever control housing.

On my '72 H2 it's exactly like the throttle cable at the handlebar end. There's a curved tube that threads into the casting, a threaded adjuster in that, and the ferrule on the cable slips into the adjuster. The cable itself has just a ferrule on its end.

The cable in the eBay photo is the same as my H2's setup. I didn't know it changed in later years, but that's no surprise, I guess. :)

Yes, I believe it changed for the H2B & C.

Z1 called back, they do not carry the later style cable, so I am returning.

Jess has them and 1 will be in the mail today.

Thanks guys...
