Just don't go with a super cheapie. I like the hose type, but it has to have a schrader valve at the end of the hose, and at the top. Or you get the hose volume added and a false low reading. |

Also, no matter the gauge, hold the throttle open all the way WOT to do the test, but, MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE YOU CLOSE THE THROTTLES AFTER COMPLETING THE TESTS. |

I still have one from Mac tools that I used many many years ago when I was a car mechanic. Still works good. I'm sure the new ones are made in China now like everybody else's stuff. |
