1975 S3 starts hard and will not idle at all, runs great and pulls hard all the way to 9000 RPMs. Up north here the bike sits a lot because of cool weather. Bike was ran in early Feb (and yes I froze) but ran great and idled well. So the bike has sat since. I have had similar issues in past after sitting, low idle but most times riding the bike it straightens it's self out. I do try and run the fuel out before shut down. The carbs were completely redone about 1500 miles ago. Is there a product anyone has used to run to help with issue. Just hoping for an "fix" before removing all the carbs.
Thanks

I like Seafoam but the proper way is to pull the carbs and clean them. Actually as easy as pulling the carbs is, it IS actually a quick fix. Also a fresh set of plugs won't hurt.

Most likely your pilot jets need cleaning. They will clog after sitting for an extended period.

Drain the fuel bowls and take it out and rev it if that doesn't work work on it as it is a two stroke. Just a thought
