For example a standard 6mm bolt has a 10mm head.
Many of the 6mm bolts used on bikes would have an 8mm head.

They might be called JIS Tap bolts?
Been searching for a source; anybody know where to find them?
TIA

Might take a look on the industrial supply websites, McMaster-Carr, Grainger, MSC, etc.

Honda uses lots of 6x1.00 bolts with 8mm heads. My xr70 has many. the 250 and 450's too.

There are some here: https://www.boltdepot.com/Metric_JIS_hex_bolts_Zinc_plated_class_8.8_steel.aspx
But not a very big selection unfortunately.

Hello Jim,

I've sourced metric hardware from these folks for many years.
They have what your looking for.

Thanks Craig; you the man!
I was really getting tired from other boards telling me that you could only buy these from the Kawa or Honda dealer, or only in Ti.
I need a variety of sizes for my KDX, H2, and ZRX just to clean up older hardware and keeping head sizes the same for an assembly.
You hit the nail squarely on the head
