I am trying to make my own seat cover minus the piping, and I know this sounds scary. I'm wondering if any one has made a stock looking seat cover. My old seat is so cracked and stretched to trace a good pattern. I'm reaching out to my peers here and asking if any one can help me out with this. Is there any one who can help me with a pattern or some guidance. Thank you!!

I've not heard anyone on this forum making their own cover, only buying one of the repros out there. Some are more accurate than others, like from RB or http://www.diablocycle.com/Kawasaki-H1-1972-Seat-Cover-PR-K019.html (like Dew said...), or this inexpensive one I just noticed http://www.ebay.com/itm/KAWASAKI-H1-500-REPLACEMENT-SEAT-COVER-SILVER-DYED-LOGO-H1-500-MODEL-/262499650671.

Are you hoping to have an accurate looking H1b seat cover, or just wanting a decent rider-level cover?

I am looking to do something different then the stock black vinyl cover. I can sew but making the pattern is something new to me. Piping is not that important to me either. Also, I want to say I did this. I am currently contacting custom seat companies to see if they can help out. Tonight I am going to use some thin paper and do a rub on my other good seat. That should give me some good idea then add a quarter inch for seam allowance. If it goes well and any one is interested I will gladly post my pattern and dimension. If I can complete it I am hopiing to blow some minds and not blow. Thank you guys for your in put! I will keep you posted!!!!
