So I went to see Darrell and see for myself his cylinder removal device in action. Pretty amazed. Of note, if they are so corroded, not even this device will work. Sawsall needed for those.
So as you can see the frame holds the engine in place at the motor mounts. The puller goes into the exhaust and intake ports and exerts upward tension on it. Secret is the air hammer vibration on the studs. No amount of pulling will remove severely stuck cylinders, it will only break them.
