Put some tape on it then grab it good
With pliers and turn and pull . It has no choice but to
Come out. Worst case replace it . Under 15 bucks .

There is probably corrosion, not unusual. Carefully tap on the edge of the sleeve to see if the vibration breaks the corrosion. If it won't come off, no biggie. Do it this way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSChTKrhSzM

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll give it a shot, I just didn't want to screw it up. Bike's running good, just leaking trans oil like a freighter.

In looking at your photo closely, the seal that's in it looks to be missing the sealing lip that's supposed to be riding the collar or it's the wrong inside diameter. Seems kinda odd that the collar requires channel locks and is difficult to remove after you replaced the O-ring once. if you use a big socket over the shaft to the collar and rap on it a couple times easily with a hammer to jar it, might losen it some.

You know, I cant tell you if that's the right seal or not. I've never replaced it. I can tell you that is started leaking all at once. No warning puddles, nothing. It just started leaking like a freighter after a ride. I slipped the o ring over the sleeve, so I never had it out.

Huge clue there! The o ring is basically crushed between the sleeve and bearing. So if you just slid the o ring on the sleeve, it can not be where it is supposed to be. The sleeve has to absolutely come off to get the O ring into the correct position.

Boy, I have a huge "duh" moment here. How stupid. And the green goop is Redline transmission oil. The guy that did my crank seals a few years ago told me to run nothing but Redline, and it's performed well.

From what has been discussed here so far, I think I'd get right down into looking very closely at the lips of the seal, and how thier conditions are, against the sleeve.

If it is found that the oil is leaking from the seal lip area, it may well be that the output shaft bearing might have had the steel ball guide fail, and take the inner seal lip out.

I know, remote, but still a possibility to either confirm, or, hopefully, to deny. That looks like it is a lot of oil for just the O ring to have leaked out.
