Tankie, if you think the lever could lose its heat treatment and be too soft, you'll need to do more than heat, bend, and cool in oil to retain it. But the ones I've straightened were easy to bend at room temperature in a press, so I really don't think they're a heat treated (hardened) steel. Heck, some H2 levers get bent when the rider forgets to fold the peg before kicking.

Steve those are Lester rims, your must be thinking of the H1 I got from you a few years ago that I put installed the Kz 550 rims on :thumbup:
