Ready for a bit of red loctite and a touch of impact wrench...

Chain tool makes a hateful job I used to do with a grinder and a punch an easy five minute job...

My universal rear set shifter lever had the most annoying tendency of the collar that holds it together backing off and letting the lever loosen and get sloppy. I drilled it and tapped it. Then I put some red loctite on it and installed a phillips head screw. I had to grind most of the head of the screw off for clearence. Works like a champ.

I refurbed the pipe hangers for two of the three chambers and gave it a lick and a promise quick detail. It started on the 3rd kick after setting at least two months. All thats left to do is change out/repair the head light on off switch that has been broken off for years( I have both the knob and a new switch) and shine on it some more time permitting.

Test ride complete. Back on the lift for chain adjustment after the initial stretch and the headlight switch.

If you clean it up too much, it will cause bad weather for the meet.

2nd run was little more vigorous after the initial chain tightening...
