My 71 H1A handlebars aim towards the right a bit as dsoes the headlamp. I had the forks checked and they are not bent. Is there a solution to adjust this??

Hmm, I wonder if maybe one of your triple trees is bent just enough to cause this...?

Its cast.I would think it would not be that. Is there a way to adjust the colomn that goes through the triple tree?

Cast bends too! But most likely you can probably hold the front wheel between your legs and twist things back into place.

What John said. Loosen everything off just a bit and twist it between your knees, like it was a pushbike.
Cast does bend.....Once! Never been able to straighten it again, that's for sure!

Yes as has been said above, my lower triple clamp was bent, easy to tell if they are bent, where the fork tube slides in, that gap will be higher/lower than the other, the fork tubes need to be out though, I was lucky as I had a spare, since then I have it re-straightened.

I have had twisted fork tubes as you have, I loosened the centre nut and the top clamp nuts then held the front wheel between my legs and pulled the bars till they were back in position, just like you do with a pushbike above.

Laurie Alterton is a genius Rod.

Is the rear wheel in straight? Have you checked the front/rear wheel alignment? I had a bent lower triple clamp on my H2. Handled way better after I corrected both.
