So I am trying to remove the swing arm bushings on an H1E without damaging them , any suggestions :?: there stuck big time ;) , I have had no luck with the hydraulic press,,,,,, next its going to be the blue wrench aka oxy/acetylene torch, that's my favorite tool I want to use it ha ha but I am trying to save the bushings , just clean em up and reinstall hopefully .

Just to clarify, are you talking the inner sleeves, or the pressed in bushings? IF they are the bushings, then go for the 40 bucks or so and get bronze ones. The others will break out with a chisel.

Yes, to get my original green fiber bushings out of my H2, I had to use a hacksaw blade to saw a slit in them. Then I was able to knock them loose.

If you dont plan to replace them, and they are tight enough to use, why not clean them up while still in the arm Jack?
Why not just flush it out and fill it full of grease?
Personally, I would replace them with either a 20 dollar set from ebay
Or you can get needle roller sleeves they sell. Not sure who has them???

I can't see reusing them ---- The $40 bronze is the way to go and be done with it.

I was thinking of going with the needle roller sleeves on one of mine. Does it make that great of a difference?

In a swinger situation of only minor reciprocating motion, roller bearings are not the best choice. (though they do work) The rollers have a much smaller contact patch than a bushing, and when both are installed properly, the stiction difference is negligible. Both do need yearly greasing, to give the same amount of life.
